PATCA COUNCIL MEETING 2011
PATCA will hold this years’ National Council Meeting on
October 18, 2011 at the Canteen of the Civil Aviation Training
Center, Merville, Paranaque City. It will be attended by more
or less representatives from the 25 chapters nationwide. Among
the agenda are; the adaption of the new PATCA official logo,
presentation of members’ identification cards, presentation
of www.patca.net, the chairman’s report and updates, financial
report, preparation for the 2012 Convention, and other matters.

In
commemoration of the 50th year in existence of PATCA, the association
will hold a Convention tentatively on July 29 – 30, 2012
to a venue to be announced soon. The theme of the convention
shall be PATCA GOLD: 50 Years of Ensuring Safety through Professionalism and Technical Excellence.
Your
support and cooperation is greatly appreciated in the preparations
for the much anticipated event.
A
souvenir program in the form of a magazine entitled “PATCA
Journal” will be issued through a Solicitation and Sponsorship
project to be facilitated by the Sponsorship Committee headed
by Ms. Katrina Ybera. Sponsors who will avail of our sponsorship
packages shall also have the privilege to have their websites
linked to our website, www.patca.net as our partners.
Pictures,
news articles, personal stories, and any other forms of literary
compositions relating to PATCA or the ATC profession that you
wish to be featured on the magazine shall be compiled by the
Newsletter Committee headed by Ms. Ruby Lalugan.
Air
Traffic Controllers who retired from service are very much welcome
to participate in the event, just coordinate with Ms. Arminda
Mendador or with any of our officers for details.

launches our new website still at www.patca.net.

renewed its ties with QUAZARWEB Design Services in providing
a portal for members and surfing enthusiasts to visit and have
a look see of what our association is all about.
It
boasts of a Flash enhanced web layout, 1GB of web space, unlimited
email accounts for members, Online Open Forum, and a user friendly
CPanel (Control Panel) for easy administration. It also provides
